Process

How an engagement actually runs

Four stages, each with a named output. The order never changes: compliance rails, then automations, then growth, then the calendar. Our fastest run through stages one and two took 18 days, documented in the skincare launch write-up.

  1. Weeks 1–2

    Audit & registration

We pull your consent records, opt-in surfaces, and send history, then file A2P 10DLC brand and campaign registration (roughly $44–$48 one-time plus $15 vetting per campaign) or toll-free verification, which runs about 3 to 5 business days. Existing senders get a filtering health check against delivery benchmarks: 96.6% is the campaign average to beat.

Output: Registration filed · consent gap list · platform decision

  2. Weeks 2–4

    Flows before blasts

Welcome, abandoned-cart, browse, and win-back automations get built and tested first, because Klaviyo's 2026 data shows flows carrying 45.2% of SMS revenue on 7.6% of sends. Each flow launches with a target band, like cart conversion at 3.97 to 7.84%, and a hold-back group where volume allows honest measurement.

Output: 4 core flows live · hold-back test running

  3. Weeks 3–6

    List growth

Checkout opt-in first, exclusive-offer popup second, keyword joins third. Consent language names the brand, states frequency, and never conditions purchase on opt-in. The marketplace-app program grew from 6,200 to 24,800 subscribers in six months on exactly this stack.

Output: Growth surfaces live · consent records archiving

  4. Ongoing

    Calendar & guardrails

A campaign cadence of four to eight sends per month, capped per subscriber, quiet-hours checked by state (Texas allows 9am to 9pm; Florida ends at 8pm), and reviewed after every send against the 0.33 to 0.88% opt-out band. Monthly reports score CTR, opt-out, delivery, and revenue per message against public benchmarks.

Output: Monthly benchmark report · quarterly roadmap
