Compliance first, always

A2P 10DLC registration, toll-free verification, TCPA consent records, and quiet-hours QA before a single campaign goes out. Statutory damages run $500 to $1,500 per text; we treat that as a design constraint.

Flows carry the money

Klaviyo's 2026 benchmark data puts automated flows at 7.6% of sends but 45.2% of SMS revenue. We build welcome, cart, browse, and win-back flows before we ever talk about blast calendars.

Lists that stay opted in

89% of US consumers now take texts from businesses, and frequency is the top reason they leave. We grow through checkout opt-ins and exclusive offers, then guard opt-out rates every send.

Why we exist

SMS died a little every time someone blasted a full list at 9pm

We started Coolnetworky in Austin after watching the same story repeat: a brand buys a platform, imports every phone number it can find, sends identical blasts, and burns its list inside a quarter. The channel works. Texts pull a 12.39% campaign click-through against email's 0.74% on the same Omnisend dataset. Careless senders squander it.

So we run SMS the way it holds up: consent you can produce in a dispute, flows tuned to Postscript's published benchmark bands, copy tested under the 240-character ceiling where conversion drops 8.5%, and send caps that respect the person on the other end. Read how that plays out in our Write-ups or see the method on our Process page.

How an engagement runs

Four stages, first revenue campaign inside a month

  1. 01

    Audit & registration

Consent records, 10DLC brand and campaign registration ($15 vetting per campaign, $10/mo standard), or toll-free verification in 3 to 5 business days.

  2. 02

    Flows before blasts

Welcome, abandoned-cart, browse, and win-back automations built against Postscript's benchmark bands, like cart conversion at 3.97 to 7.84%.

  3. 03

    List growth

Checkout opt-in, exclusive-offer popups, and keyword joins. The marketplace-app program grew 6,200 to 24,800 subscribers in six months.

  4. 04

    Calendar & guardrails

A campaign cadence with per-subscriber send caps, quiet-hours checks by state, and opt-out review after every send against the 0.33 to 0.88% band.

“They opened with consent records and quiet hours before they would even discuss a campaign calendar. Six months later SMS is a channel we trust with launch weeks.”

Quick answers

SMS marketing questions we hear every week

Yes, with documented consent. The TCPA requires prior express written consent before marketing texts: a signed opt-in that names your brand and states that consent is not a condition of purchase. Since April 2025, opt-outs made by any reasonable method must be honored within 10 business days. Quiet hours also apply: no marketing texts before 8am or after 9pm in the recipient's local time zone.

Platform costs run from $25 to $39 per month at entry (EZ Texting, SimpleTexting) up to roughly $0.007 to $0.009 per message plus fees on Shopify platforms like Postscript. Carrier surcharges add about $0.0035 to $0.0045 per text. Our management pricing is published: a $1,500 audit, a $4,200 launch package, or a $2,900 monthly retainer.

A2P 10DLC brand and campaign registration usually clears within days, though carrier vetting can stretch longer, and toll-free verification takes about 3 to 5 business days. Our fastest launch went from zero to a first revenue campaign in 18 days, including registration, welcome flow, and checkout opt-in setup. Plan on two to four weeks for a clean start.

Some churn is normal: per-campaign opt-out rates between 0.33% and 0.88% sit inside Postscript's published benchmark band. Frequency is the top trigger, named by 40% of consumers in EZ Texting's 2026 survey. We cap sends per subscriber, segment by engagement, and watch opt-outs on every campaign; our median program holds at 0.38%.
